UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina
In accordance with the signed Basic Cooperation Agreement – BCA between UNICEF and Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Country Programme Document – CPDs was approved by UNICEF’s Executive Board on 15 September 2009 for the period 2010 to 2014. As foreseen in the BCA, UNICEF in Bosnia and Herzegovina develops Country Programme Action Plans (also called Master Plan of Operations) that are designed in close consultation with government partners and that serve as the basis for all programmes, projects and other activities that UNICEF is implementing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The latest Action Plan for the period 2010 to 2014 was signed by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers in April 2010. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) is a part of the United Nations Country Team in Bosnia and Herzegovina and coordinates its activities with other UN Agencies in BiH through United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF). The current UNDAF for BiH 2010-2014 was signed in March 2009 by the Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, and its implementation was launched as of January 2010.
