Call for Proposals: Production Company for Edutainment TV Series
UNICEF Bosnia and Herzegovina is seeking a partner - Production Company for managing production and promotion of an edutainment TV serial on HIV/AIDS and related issues, including a musical and TV spot and video clips with preventive messages aimed at young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The partner - Production Company (PC) will be expected to manage the production marketing and to establish partnerships with media, commercial partners and sponsors to cover a part of the production and broadcasting costs of the edutainment series, in accordance with UNICEF’s partnership policies and with UNICEF’s approval.
The selected partner will work in close collaboration with UNICEF Communications Officer, HIV/AIDS consultant, and other key stakeholders and beneficiaries of programmatic initiatives.
Deliverables:
• 8 full episodes of 25 minutes each according to the provided scenario (pre-production, recording, editing, copying, sub-titling for English version, arranging broadcast and distribution to TV stations)
• 1 musical spot with text relating to the promotion of healthy lifestyle and related to HIV/AIDS. The song will include music popular to regional youth and to be sung jointly with popular “role models” for youth. The musical spot should be ready for TV broadcasting. The spot will show all singers involved and will include preventive messages.
• 3 video clips, between 15-30 seconds each, including statements, messages delivered by TV serial actors or taken from recorded material.
• Promotion of the series in collaboration with media partners, including print and broadcast media
• Production budget specifying additional contributions from media partners, commercial companies, partnering Production Company and UNICEF’s contribution
Qualifications
The PH for this tender should meet the following criteria:
1. Extensive experience working with youth–oriented and/or health production.
2. Experience working with UN Agencies is an advantage

2. Detailed proposal (including detailed numbers of days needed to produce deliverables and separate budget for each item)
Selection criteria
The selection of PC will take into account 1) the fulfillment of requirements and specificities, 2) costs and provision of additional fundraising support, 3) timeframe and 4) quality of proposed project.
