Build and always use a latrine, to prevent diarrhoea and other faecal-borne diseases. It helps to keep the surrounding area clean and free from exposed excreta. It is a simple structure over a pit of five to six feet covered with a slab with a squatting hole. It prevents flies that carry germs to food.
