National Committees for UNICEF

National committees are an integral part of UNICEF and they are a unique feature within the UN system. There are 36 national committees, each established as an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) under the charity rules of their respective countries. Serving as the public face and dedicated voice of UNICEF, national committees work to raise funds from the private sector and rally many different partners on issues related to children’s rights.

UNICEF Bangladesh receives contributions from many national committees to promote and realise children’s rights in Bangladesh. The following national committees are currently supporting various programmes of UNICEF Bangladesh:
