6th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh

19- 25 January 2013
Future in Frames

Objectives:
To open a new world of cinema to the children of Bangladesh and to give them an exposure to culture and tradition of different countries through film as a powerful media of art.

Dates:
January 19 to 25, 2013

The festival will be organized simultaneously in six divisional cities of the country.  

Screening schedule:

Feature films, short films, animations and documentaries suitable for children and Films that are made by children and nominated for awards will be shown.

Venues: Dhaka

- Central Public Library (Shawkat Osman Hall)
 - Sufia Kamal Auditorium, National Museum,
- British Council Auditorium
- Alliance Francaise de Dacca ( Dhanmondi  & Uttara)
- Goethe Institute Auditorium
- Daffodil University Auditorium 

And Rajshahi,Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Rangpur and Barisal

Inauguration:
Central Public Library, Shahbag, Dhaka and
Abdul Karim Shahittyabisharad auditorium, Bangla Academy

Show Timing:
Daily at 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm.

Audience:
Mainly children. Students of different schools will be organized to come in groups.

Children: Free for children (under 18) with a parent.
Adult: Taka 30 (Over 18 year of age)

With support from UNICEF Bangladesh, the Children’s Film Society is going to organize the 6th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh in Dhaka from 19 to 25 January 2013.
