The Meena Media Award 2012
The 8th Meena Media Award will be announced on 18 November 2012 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. The Awards celebrate excellence in creative media and journalism to promote child rights in Bangladesh and have generated a good response this year and attracted submissions from all over the country.
Broadly divided into ‘creative’ and ‘journalistic’ categories, entries have been sought from print and broadcast media (including a special category for entrants less than 18 years of age).

Eight eminent judges drawn from literature, journalism, academia, film and documentary sectors have deliberated over many quality entries to select winners in each category for this year’s Awards.
