UNICEF expresses its heartfelt condolence over death of children in accidentDhaka, 11 July 2011: UNICEF Bangladesh has expressed its heartfelt condolence to the families who have lost their children today during a road accident in Chittagong. These unexpected death of young children are huge loss not only for their families but also for the country as a whole. At the same time, UNICEF remains deeply concerned with such unexpected incident which has caused the death of around 40 children. UNICEF has urged every single individual, specially drivers, to practice proper safety rules during driving as such loss could effect anybody directly or indirectly in the same way as those families are suffering from the shock today.
