4th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh

Objectives:
To open a new world of cinema to the children of Bangladesh and to give them an exposure to culture and tradition of different countries through film as a powerful media of art.

Dates:
January 22 to 28 2011

Nature:
Feature films, short films, animations and documentaries suitable for children. Competition for films made by children.

- British Council Auditorium
- German Cultural Centre Auditorium
- Russian Centre for Science & Culture
- Iran Cultural Centre

Inauguration:
Central Public Library, Shahbag, Dhaka

Show Timing:
Daily at 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm.

Other events:
- Day-long workshop for children.
- Day-long seminar on children’s film.
- Sharing of experience with children by 3 prominent personalities.

Organizer:
Children's Film Society Bangladesh

With support from UNICEF Bangladesh, the Children’s Film Society is going to organize the 4th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh in Dhaka from 22nd to 28th January 2010. The festival is planning to screen more than 150 feature, animation and short films suitable for children from all around the world simultaneously in 3 divisional cities of the country during the week-long festival.
