Meena Day Celebrations 2010
Theme for Meena Day 2010:
"Going to school is the only work for children. No child will remain out of school anymore."
National Level:
The following activities are part of a National Meena Day program organized by the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) to take place from 10.00am on 24 September, Firday, at LGED Bhaban, Level-12, Agargong, Dhaka.

- Remarks by Honorable State Minister of Primary and Mass Education
- Meena Film Show
- Puppet Show
- Muppet Show
The following activities will also take place on a national level to celebrate Meena Day in 2010.
- Interactive Talk show and Meena film show by BTV
- Meena feature spot on Betar
- Private TV Channels are producing special Meena programmes and films
- An SMS on the Meena theme will be sent out by the Ministry of Information
Divisional Level:
- Rally and public theatre show by UNICEF Protection of Children at Risk (PCAR) project
- Public theatre show by Ministry of Woman and Children Affairs
District level:
- Rally by Department of Primary Education and Ministry of Information
Upazilla Level:
- Meena Day activities (All Districts) by Department of Primary Education
