Situation assessment and analysis of Children and Women in Bangladesh 2009
This UNICEF report provides an overview of the implementation of child rights in Bangladesh, using the Convention on the Rights of the Child as the principal frame of reference. The 180-page report combines key information about the status of child rights in Bangladesh with a detailed analysis of the factors influencing the realization or violation of these rights. The roles and responsibilities of different actors, such as employers, governments and NGOs, are analyzed. The report focusses on the rights to education, health and nutrition, protection and water.
