Concluding observations of the CRC Committee: Bangladesh
This document contains the concluding observations of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child relating to the progress Bangladesh has made in implementing the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). These recommendations were issued in June 2009, after the Government of Bangladesh submitted its 3d and 4th periodic report to the Committee. The committee praised many legislative changes, but remained concerned about issues such as the coordination and monitoring of various government ministries, harmonization of the national legistation with the CRC, allocation of adequate resources for children.
