Internship Opportunity – Child Protection Section
Supervisor: Child Protection Manager
Description:
• Assist the child protection section’s work in the areas of child welfare reform; juvenile justice reform; and strengthening the state child rights protection, monitoring and coordination mechanism
Prerequisite:
• Must be a currently-enrolled graduate or post-graduate student in relevant fields (social sciences, law, etc.)
Qualifications:
• Commitment to the protection of the child’s rights
• Basic knowledge on human/child’s rights protection mechanism
• Good English
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian language an asset
• Good communication and writing skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to search the internet
• Ability to take initiatives and work independently
• Creativity and enthusiasm
Hours: Full-time
Duration: Minimum 2 months (preferably 3 months)
Location: UNICEF County Office in Azerbaijan
