الشراكات مع اليونيسف

تعد إقامة الشراكات في غاية الأهمية لتحقيق نتائج لصالح الأطفال. وفي ضوء المناقشة العامة الأخيرة حول مشاركة اليونيسف مع الشركاء والجهات المانحة الأخرى، من المهم التأكيد على أن تتعاون اليونيسف مع مجموعة واسعة من المنظمات والكيانات التي تتشارك في قيم المنظمة الأساسية. فهي تدرس 400-500 منظمة وكياناً سنوياً لكفالة أن تتوافق أنشطتها مع مهمة اليونيسف. وتلتزم اليونيسف بتقديم المساعدة من أجل بناء عالم يكون فيه جميع الأطفال قادرين على البقاء والازدهار. وهي تقيّم دعم جميع الناس وجميع الدول بغض النظر عن العرق أو الدين أو الإثنية أو المعتقدات السياسية.

وخلال الاثني عشر شهراً حتى تموز/يوليه 2008، لم تقبل اليونيسف إقامة شراكات مع أكثر من 20 كيان من جميع أنحاء العالم، تشارك في أنشطة قانونية، لكنها لا تتفق مع روح مهمة اليونيسف وسياستها.
