Peer educationUnder the theory that youth are more comfortable talking with each other about sensitive topics than with adults, UNICEF is supporting peer training seminars on HIV/AIDS and substance abuse. These seminars aim to provide accurate information to young people and give them skills to negotiate safer sex and resist peer pressure. Leaders for the seminars have been recruited from youth organizations, and so far around 400 young people have attended.
