Life skills educationUNICEF coordinated the preparation of a life skills manual for use by high school teachers covering topics ranging from values to substance abuse. It includes lessons on communication and negotiation skills and non-violent conflict resolution. More than 400 teachers have participated in sessions to learn how to use the manual in the classroom, and it has been recommended for inclusion in the new curriculum.
