Youth-friendly health services
Young people are more likely to get the services they need if they can obtain them in a supportive atmosphere. UNICEF has worked with the government to establish youth-friendly health services, which offer a range of medical and psychosocial services including HIV testing. So far, 6,000 young people have access to youth-friendly services in Tirana and 7,000 in Vlora. Similar facilities will be opened in Durres and Shkodra. This model has the support of government ministries and it has been incorporated into the National Strategy on Youth.
