Unite for Children, Unite against AIDS

Who We Are

UNICEF’s HIV response works to ensure that neither age, poverty, gender equality, nor social exclusion determine access to life-saving HIV prevention, treatment and care for children and adolescents. We do so by working across the first two decades of life with partners in the countries in which we operate to make HIV testing, treatment and prevention as widely available as possible, including in remote and urban areas. We also promote the integration of HIV care, treatment and support for children, adolescents and women living with HIV and their families into strengthened antenatal, postnatal and child health platforms including at the local level.  More
