Temporary Appointment: Immunization Specialist (IPV Introduction), P-4, EAP Regional Office, Bangkok, Thailand

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a TA for an Immunization Specialist (IPV Introduction), P-4, EAP Regional Office, Bangkok, Thailand.

Qualification:
Advanced degree in Public Health or a related technical field;
- Minimum 8 years’ professional working experience in the area of immunization with 3 years’ experience in developing countries, preferably in EAPR countries;
- Experience in enhancing routine immunization, CCL systems or C4D;
- Proven ability in organizing large scale immunization activities in limited timeframes (e.g. vaccination campaigns or new vaccine introduction);
- Good command in English communication skills and another UN language required;
- Communicates effectively with varied audiences, including through formal public speaking;
- Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment;
- Sets high standards for quality of work and consistently achieves project goals;
- Has good leadership and supervisory skills; co-ordinates group activities, ensuring that roles within the team are clear;
- Translates strategic direction into plans and objectives;
- Analyzes and integrates diverse and complex quantitative and qualitative data from a wide range of sources
- Quickly builds rapport with individuals and groups; maintains an effective network of individuals across the organization;
- Identifies urgent and potentially difficult decisions and acts on them promptly; initiates and generates team-and office-wide activities;
- Demonstrates, applies and shares expert technical knowledge across the organization.
