Consultancy assignment: Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition Consultant in Kabul

Purpose:

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant for Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition in Kabul.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

1. Education:
Advanced university degree in public health/nutrition/nurse/pediatrician with CMAM-IMAM nutrition experience

2. Work Experience:
Over 8 years of experience in all aspects of project management cycle of CMAM/ IMAM,
• Experience in capacity building with government and NGOs, experience in Afghanistan is an advantage,
• Demonstrated experience to integrate IMAM/CMAM in developing country health system,
• Willing to live and work under difficult circumstances,
• Willing to travel 35% of time to the field,
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team,
• Be able to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work

3. Language Proficiency:
Excellent English written and presentation skills.
