Consultancy Assignment: Social Media/Global Outreach Consultant

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a Social Media/Global Outreach Consultant in the New Talent Unit, New York.

Qualification:
Advanced University degree, preferably in Communication, Social Media, Multi-Media, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or related field.
Must be able to use Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in communication, social media, digital marketing, web development and outreach analysis.
Excellent communication skills including presentation, writing and research.
Experience working with website layouts and templates.
Strong analytical skills and creativity.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
Good judgement, initiative, high sense of responsibility, tact and discretion, with sensitivity to different cultures.
Flexibility to be able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and adapts to changing demands and circumstances.
Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced, multi-tasking global working environment.
Experience working within a team environment and providing suggestions and creative and innovative ideas.
Passion to work for UNICEF's mission.
Fluency in English, French and knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
