UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks a consultant to provide technical support to the National Food and Nutrition Commission (NFNC) to review and revise the national strategy on Infant and Young Child Feeding.

Advanced university degree in Nutrition, Public Health or related field.
At least 10 years of relevant professional work experience of which 5 years in infant and young child feeding programs.
Technical knowledge and understanding of IYCF programming including experience of community-based programming.
Previous experience in developing national strategies and action plans
Strong communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Excellent writing skills are a must.
Previous experience in Zambia or in Southern Africa Region is an added value.
