Consultancy: Consultancy with Gender Cluster, Programme Divison, New York

Purpose

A consultant is being sought to contribute to developing sets of indicators to measure the achievement of results with respect to the promotion of gender equality and to work with the Gender Cluster on its inputs to the UN-SWAP and in its role in convening the GETF and the PD Working Group on Gender. For details please see the terms of reference.

Minimum Requirements

• Advanced university degree in social sciences and/or related fields.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in social/international development.
• Experience in quantitative and statistical analysis as well as qualitative research methods.
• Knowledge of UNICEF’s areas of work.
• Knowledge in relation to the areas of human rights, gender equality, social change and inclusive development a plus.
• Excellent writing skills in the English language.

Duty Station
The consultant will be based in NYHQ. Office space and a computer will be provided by UNICEF.
