UNICEF seeks a Consultant (SSA) Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (HIV/AIDS Campaign), Programmes in its Office in New York.
Purpose of post:
To provide analytical, writing, and coordination support for the completion of specific tasks in the workplan of the HIV and AIDS unit, with a particular focus on providing support to a global Campaign Evaluation, the finalisation of regional HIV reports, support and coordination to a global PMTCT and paediatric HIV costing exercise, oversight and coordination on ongoing projects, as well as additional needs as they arise.

Your Profile:
• Postgraduate qualification in public health or epidemiology or social sciences or related field.
• Strong familiarity with PMTCT, paediatric HIV, HIV prevention among young people and protection issues around children affected by AIDS, including key global partners and their roles on each of the areas.
• Excellent grasp of the use of data and evidence, knowledge of current monitoring and evaluation methods.
• Familiarity with UN and UNICEF an asset.
• Must be committed and able to work and collaborate well with others to obtain and disseminate relevant information.
• Fluency in English with excellent writing skills. Proficiency in French desirable.
