Child Protection Specialist (Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism), L-3, Programmes, New York Headquarters

UNICEF seeks a Child Protection Specialist (Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism) to be based in its Programmes division, New York Headquarters.
You will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a monitoring and reporting system on egregious child rights violations.
Your profile:
Advanced university degree or equivalent background in Social Sciences or other relevant discipline related to Child Protection is required.
A minimum of five years progressively responsible professional work experience at the national or international levels in programme planning, monitoring, and evaluation, in a related field is required. Experience with the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism is required. Experience working within a multi-cultural environment is required. Background/familiarity with international human rights and humanitarian law and emergency response an asset.
