Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, L-4, Dhaka, Bangladesh

If you are a passionate and committed professional and want to make a lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF seeks a Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to be based in its Dhaka Office, Bangladesh.

Under the supervision of the Representative, you will be responsible for the planning, development and implementation of the integrated monitoring and evaluation plan and monitoring and planning activities in support of the country programme.

Your profile:
Advanced university degree in social sciences/development planning, or other related field with training in programme management including planning, monitoring, evaluation and resource management.
Eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and international levels in programme monitoring and evaluation. Practical experience in community-based research. Background/familiarity with emergency and security.
Professional expertise in inter-disciplinary approach in programme planning, research and evaluation methodology.
Professional expertise in UNICEF's programme planning, development, implementation, M&E in developing countries or in the field (desirable).
Strong statistical and analytical, quantitative and qualitative research skills.
Knowledge of computer management skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.
Ability to organize and implement training. 
Good analytical, negotiating and communication skills.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative research skills.
Current knowledge of development issues, policies as well as social programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation.
Proven ability to conceptualize, innovate, plan and execute ideas as well as to transfer knowledge and skills.
Supervisory and managerial skills.
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment and catalyse teamwork.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a must. Knowledge of Bangla is desirable.
