Human Resources Specialist (Career Development), P-3, Division of Human Resources, New York Headquarters

UNICEF seeks a Human Resources Specialist (Career Development) to be based in its Division of Human Resources, New York Headquarters.

Under the close supervision of the Performance and Career Development Manager, you will support new talent participation in UNICEF's Performance Management System and linking this accountability to its development.

Your profile:
Advanced university degree in business administration, with specialization in personnel management.
Five years of practical professional work experience in the field of personnel administration. Experience in an international organization is desirable.
Good judgment, initiative, high sense of responsibility, tact and discretion, and sensitive to different cultures.
Good analytical, negotiating, writing and communication skills.
Skills in interviewing techniques.
Computer skills, including internet navigation and various office applications.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN language is an asset.
